The Grace Church vestry has called the Rev. Owen C. Thompson to be the new rector of the parish. He has accepted the call. 

Fr. Owen is currently the rector of Trinity St. John's Church in Hewlett, NY (on the south shore of Long Island in Nassau County), a position he has held since 2005.  Fr. Owen earned his M.Div at General Theological Seminary, has a masters degree in educational technology from NYU and earned his undergraduate degree at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.  Fr. Owen, his wife Jonna, and their two sons (ages 6 and 3) plan to move into Babbit House the first week of September and he will begin his ministry as Rector, Grace Church, Nyack on Sunday, September 15.
