Collect of the Day
O Lord, make us have perpetual love and reverence for your holy Name, for you never fail to help and govern those whom you have set upon the sure foundation of your lovingkindness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

"This is true perfection: not to avoid a wicked life because like slaves we fear punishment, nor to do good because we hope for rewards, as if cashing in on the virtuous life by some business-like arrangement. On the contrary, disregarding all those things for which we hope and which have been reserved by promise, we regard falling from God's friendship as the only thing dreadful and we consider becoming God's friend the only thing worthy of honor and desire. This, as I have said, is the perfection of life."

SINGING IN THE SUMMER!
Interested in singing with the choir but are unsure of what it's all about?
Want a chance to keep your musical skills sharp during the Dog Days? Curious about the view from the Choir Loft? If so, there are five opportunities to sing with the Summer Choir between now and September: June 30, July 14, July 28, August 11, August 25 (the second and fourth Sundays of the month). Rehearsals are the same day at 9:15am in the Choir Room. The Summer Choir sits in the pews for the service and comes up to the organ (or over to the piano) at the offering. It's a perfect opportunity for families & young adults to make music! For more information, please contact Brandon Beachamp, Interim Organist & Choirmaster.

NEW LOOKING FOR CHURCH SCHOOL TEACHERS
Grace Church School is possible thanks to our dedicated group of volunteer church school teachers. These teachers are parents, grandparents, or any other adult who enjoys working with kids. Each grade level is assigned three teachers to enable a rotation that requires teaching no more than every third week - it usually comes out to about once a month, in fact. Please contact Lainie Murrell at 825-6236 or gracekidsnyack@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more about becoming a church school teacher. Thank you!
