Collect of the DayAlmighty God, whom truly to know is everlasting life: Grant us so perfectly to know your Son Jesus Christ to be the way, the truth, and the life, that we may steadfastly follow his steps in the way that leads to eternal life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

When other men's sins come to mind, the soul that wishes to be in repose shall flee from that as from the pain of hell, searching in God for remedy for help against it, for the beholding of other men's sins makes, as it were, a thick mist before the eye of the soul, and we cannot for the time see the fairness of God. Dame Julian of Norwich in Revelations of Love, Chapter 76

OUR 15TH SUMMER OF SHAKESPEARE
Can Helena, a relatively poor but beautiful and talented young woman, earn a marriage above her station? Must Bertram, her chosen husband, be forced to accept her? All's Well That Ends Well weaves the tale of these two unlikely lovers as part of this year's Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival at historic Boscobel in Garrison, NY. The Fellowship Commission will begin taking reservations this month for the Sunday, June 30 performance at 7:00pm. Tickets are $35 (group rate) and we have 25 seats -- assuring yours is easy. Contact Barbara Cross (phone: 358-4599; email: babcross@aol.com) or the church office (358-1297, ext.10; twoodcock@gracechurchnyack.org) to reserve. Then write a check ($35.00/ ticket) to Grace Episcopal Church (Shakespeare on memo line), hand it in or mail to the church office.
