ArtWorks would like to wish you all a happy holiday and a joyous new year.

This is the first e-newsletter specially for the 500 plus youth who have participated in an ArtWorks' internships since it was started in 2001.

I joined ArtWorks in October 2013 and will be in touch with you over the coming months to see what our intern alums are up to and what you'd like to see in this newsletter.

Safe Messages Posters Distributed 
Across Milwaukee 



With help from Safe & Sound and our Giving Tuesday supporters, ArtWorks was able to share the Safe Messages posters created by our Fall 2013 interns with the 18 other designated Safe Place across Milwaukee. These posters address domestic violence, suicide, gun violence, and bullying. Click here to know more.

A 10-month apprenticeship where you: 
-Serve in paid apprenticeship to build capacity of community organizations.
- Receive over 200 hours of training and coaching.
-Build community with talented and diverse network of peers.
-Participate in Team Service Project where you create and implement a project.

-Living stipend of $16,000 over 10 months with basic medical and dental insurance.
