Greetings! I know what I said. I said that come Solstice everything was going to get easier. Remember? I won't quote myself but I will tell you why I was right, and why it feels like I was wrong.
And I can do this with one simple analogy.
Right around solstice there was a huge shift in our energy grid, and to spare those of you who are not even faintly interested in that....please contact me if you want to know more about that.
So...in order for our energy to amplify enough to meet the vibration of this new grid, we have to let go of the old stuff that's just hanging around.
And this is why it feels bad. Maybe even like you are moving backwards or stuck. But you aren't!
Here is the trick. First, come see me so we can hasten the release process. And second, try everything in your power to not get hooked on judging yourself for the emergence of these old emotions. Just allow them to surface and leave.
If your old pattern is depression...cry and move on. Don't get hooked on the fear of falling into an old cycle of depression...that's NOT WHAT'S HAPPENING!
If your old pattern is to feel like a victim...sit with it and remind yourself that you have beautiful people all around you, and would they really be hanging out with you if you were a victim? Get that....let it go...and move on.
Besides acupuncture right now is the time to ask for help from friends, read a book that inspires you, go for a walk and breathe in the fresh misty air....The more times you can react without judging yourself, the faster this will pass through!
Here's the analogy: It's kinda gross, I apologize, but it's the best I've got.
This time between now and the Chinese New Year on February 10th is like having Bronchitis...and all this stuff is just phlegm that has to come out. You can't wish it away. You can't enlighten it away. You can't meditate it away. You just have to cough it out.
And when it's done. You're done. (Until the next layer for course, but let's just focus on right now :)
And won't that just be a bundle of sweetness!
I for one...am really really looking forward to that!
Happy soul-coughing :)

It's My Birthday!
| | And I'm chasing down Sunshine!
I would like you to know that I will be on vacation in beautiful Maui from February 2-14. Back in the office tan and wonderfully relaxed on the 15th and 16th. Some people want to stay young forever....but I, for some reason, have always wanted to be 40. And it has finally arrived! In fact, my 40th happens to fall on Chinese New Year which is probably the coolest thing ever.
So, if you would like your New Year attunement, you have 10 days to schedule in. I'm working lots of evening hours to make sure I have space for everyone.
Folks have been receiving some really incredible release work lately...doesn't that sound like just the thing? If it does, you know where to find me.

Paleo Approved Chocolate Chip Cookies
I think I mentioned that I have been eating on the Paleo Diet for about three months now...
It gets kinda old.
So I started cheating...but little cheats like some cheese here and there. And Coconut Bliss for dessert.
Well...a friend emailed me the following recipe and not only are they not fattening, but they are grain, egg and dairy free and they rock the free world.
I am not pulling one over on you here. I can't stop making these.
Paleo Choc-Chip Cookies Ingredients:
2 cups almond meal, or almond flour 1/4 cup coconut oil, softened (it's soft at slightly above room temp) 3 Tablespoons pure maple syrup 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (I just cut up an 80% cacao choc bar...soooo good!)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond meal, salt, and baking soda, then add the coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips, then drop batter by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350F for 8-9 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Mine cooked more like 13 minutes. Then they NEED TO COOL for at least 10 minutes...trust me it's worth the wait. And they are even better the next day! SOOOOOO good! This is her website for other paleo goods...I'm making a few of the things on there tonight. Diet REVIVED!!!!! Paleo Friendly AMAZingly good receipes!
