Seattle's Office of Arts & Culture Announces $2.45 M in Grants Available for Arts and Culture 

Applications for grant programs open February through November 2015


Seattle's Office of Arts & Culture announced that $2.45 in cultural program grants are available to expand public access to arts and cultural organizations, develop and renovate arts spaces, support community festivals, individual artists, and youth programs and foster innovative projects. The office's goal is to foster a city driven by creativity that provides the opportunity for people of all cultural backgrounds to engage in diverse arts and cultural experiences. More

Link light rail is coming to Capitol Hill and Husky Stadium in early 2016. Metro and Sound Transit have developed two alternative concepts for how buses could work with light rail. These concepts include new and improved connections and changes to make transit more efficient, reliable, and easy to use.

New Member Event Planner: Revel Rouser

Perhaps you met Sasha Summer Cousineau at our recent State of the Hill event...or maybe you simply saw her whizzing along the outskirts of the event with her clipboard in hand and a smile on her face.  Sasha, co-owner of Revel Rouser Events, was the event planner of our signature awards and cocktail soiree this year.  Her years of experience in both the the non-profit sector and the cabaret world certainly were of service as she wove together the elements of our evening together which included a blend of soulful beats, dazzling entertainment, tasty sips and nibbles, and an artful infusion of The Chamber's mission, messaging, and work.
