Central Co-Op is All in for I-522! 

Central Co-Op is pleased to support Yes to I-522, a statewide campaign to pass Initiative 522, a law that would require labeling foods containing Genetically Engineered (GE) ingredients. Thanks to the 300K+ voters who signed the I-522 petition, Washington voters will now have the chance to vote on Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) labeling in our November 5 election.

We will be facilitating small group discussion while playing bocce ball and croquet. Topics may include compost, urban farms, community kitchens, protecting the bees, fruit tree harvesting, food equity, and general community food resilience.
