 The Chamber's very first Independent/Solo Entrepreneur member, Arthur Allen, has the script written, the Kickstarter campaign in full swing, and the kick-off party already set. As the writer and director of Winning Dad, a film about a young man who tricks his homophobic father into a camping trip with his secret boyfriend, Allen plans to complete his creative hat trick by playing the secret boyfriend. The narrative explores the generational gap between father and son within the landscape of LGBT equality now that the gays in Washington have the right to marry.

Blitz Arts Walk Turns 4 and the Party is Gonna Be Huge       Thursday, June 13 6:00 to 8:00     June 13th is Blitz's 4 Year Anniversary! Great things happening next week:   Guided walking tours with guest tour guides Jen Graves, Joey Veltkamp, Emmett Montgomery, Ellen Forney, and the famous Hill denizen Purple Mark! 
 A free commemorative artist-designed T-shirt/tank will be given for each venue who participates in the June art walk. A separate email with details will be sent to participating venues. 500 Kickstarter Donors Fund NW Film Forum's Conversion to Digital        Congratulations to founding Chamber member Northwest Film Forum. Last week they concluded their first ever Kickstarter campaign by exceeding their funding goal of $50,000 to support a new Digital Cinema Package (or DCP) conversion in its main cinema.   In fall 2012, the conversion to DCP became urgent, as the Film Forum faced an imperative from the film industry to complete a whole-scale format conversion within the current year.
