 It's that time of year again to stretch the donations given to the nonprofits of our community through the annual Seattle Foundation's GiveBig Day. In an effort to encourage Capitol Hill community members to support the good folks who support the work of the Chamber AND the larger community, we ask that you consider giving to our CHCC members on the big day: Next Wednesday, May 15 from midnight to midnight, all donations given through the Seattle Foundation's website will be "stretched" with matching funds.  Saturday, June 1 10:00 to 12:00 The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce's annual Clean Sweep is set for Saturday, June 1. Beginning at 10AM with breakfast & coffee provided by Starbucks and ending at noon with lunch provided by a local pizza place, community volunteers are encouraged to come out and join in on this yearly spring cleaning of the Hill. We'll all meet up at the Cal Anderson Park Shelter house. This year we'll be cleaning from 15th and Melrose, between Pike and Pine and on Broadway from Roy Street to Union. Last year we had 200 volunteers, this year we expect even more! More
