From the Dean's Desk
Dean CurtisDuring this very special Centennial year, we celebrated our Class of 2014 College of Health Sciences Graduation Celebration and Graduate Hooding ceremony in a festive evening event. The ceremony was highlighted by the performance of the wonderful UTEP Mariachi los Mineros, under the direction of Dr. Curtis Tredway, who welcomed our guests and provided our processional and recessional march! Many thanks to Connie Gamboa, Daniela Lerma, and their team who organized a first-class event attended by over 900 graduates and their guests at Magoffin Auditorium. Graduates were toasted by their faculty in a special reception following the ceremony. With the "Happy" song playing in the background (and all those photos that were shot), this will be a moment all of our graduates will fondly remember.

Read below about the outstanding accomplishments of these talented graduates. Also, congratulations to our own faculty and staff graduates from the College of Health Sciences and School of Nursing: Airam Gonzalez, Elizabeth Camacho, Dr. Jason Boyle, Dr. Maria Estela Salcido, Paty Vega, Dr. Dayle Sharp, Zuleika Ramirez. Their accomplishments were celebrated in a special event on Thursday, May 22nd at the College of Health Sciences and School of Nursing. We are so proud of everyone. Go Miners!!
