THE ALUMNI CHALLENGE WINNERS: 1976 & 1962
|
Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Alumni Challenge. The Participation Prize was a hard fought battle between last year's winners, the Class of 1976, and the Class of 2005, who made a strong push in honor of their 10 year reunion last year. This hard fought battle even pitted father (Mike Ernst '76) against son (Byron Ernst '05). Ultimately, the Class of 1976's efforts, led by Rich McElrath '76, Lee Nordlund '76 and Curtis Wesseln '76, outpaced the Class of 2005, led by Danny Bluth '05 and Dan Orr '05. Both classes fended off a last minute push by the Class of 2000, led by Jonathan Ekno '00 and Christopher Gonse '00. But the real winners are Servite students, who received critical financial aid funding through this competition.
This year's winner for Most Dollars Raised was the Class of 1962, who came out with an early lead and never relinquished first place. Our first graduating class continues to set an example for all the Friars that followed. Thank you!
Here are the final rankings in our Alumni Challenge (which recognized new gifts for Fund a Friar Financial Aid), from November 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016:
Highest Percentage of Participation:
1st Place - Class of 1976 - 22.72%
2nd Place - Class of 2005 - 16.29%
3rd Place - Class of 1971 - 9.70%
4th Place - Class of 2000 - 8.82%
5th Place - Class of 1962 - 8.00%
Most Dollars Donated: 1st Place - Class of 1962 2nd Place - Class of 1965 3rd Place - Class of 1971 4th Place - Class of 1976 5th Place - Class of 1995
While this friendly competition may be over for this year, donations to support Servite are accepted year-round. DONATE NOW or contact Steffanie Early in the Advancement Office to learn about ways to support Servite. And thank you again to all who showed their class spirit and supported Servite!

CAMPUS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
|
The Servite Campus is a construction zone these days, as we prepare for our new Aquatics Center. Three homes along Keystone Avenue are being razed to expand the footprint of our campus and make way for our expanded state of the art pool. The 700 buildings will be demolished in the next two weeks. These efforts are all part of Servite's Capital Campaign, preparing our school for the future. Stop by campus to check out our progress, but don't forget your hard hat!
