CP Painting Class Highlights our Grotto

Check out these incredible paintings done by three Servite students.  The paintings were extra challenging because of the daily change in lighting.  These were painted over a course of time and the students had to adjust their painting to the different times of day keeping shadows, weather, and other things in consideration.  We sure have some talented young men! Request for Written Intentions for the Grotto at Lourdes, France

The Lee Family will be making their 2013 pilgrimage with The Order of Malta to Lourdes, France on April 30. While there, they will be depositing special written intentions for those who need prayer but were not able make the trip.

Geoff Lee '84 has offered to personally collect and deliver these notes into the grotto where St. Bernadette, guided by the Blessed Virgin Mary, discovered the spring in Lourdes in 1858.

Click here to learn more and submit your intentions.

Double Your Gift to Servite, Twice

You can turn $1 into $4 for Servite. Here's how. Servite received a wonderful challenge grant this year from the Windsong Trust of Las Vegas. They are matching dollar for dollar all gifts to Servite for Financial Aid, up to a total of $250,000. If you work for a matching gift company, you can have your gift to Servite also matched by your employer. Just contact your employer HR Department and request a matching gift form. There are more than 170 companies that make matching gifts to Servite. Go to www.servitehs.org, click 'Support Servite', click 'Matching Gift Companies' or click here to see if your employer is on the list. Make the most of your donations to Servite by taking the Windsong challenge and by asking your employer to match your gift. Contact the Servite Advancement Office for more information, 714-774-7575 x1140.

2013 Gala: Help the Men of Servite

Servite's annual Gala directly supports the Men of Servite by funding the school's current needs.  We need your help to ensure a successful event!

Can you help us keep our costs down by donating wine , spirits or champagne for the evening?  Gift cards to Total Wine and Spirits would be most appreciated since we receive a substantial discount when purchasing from them.

We also need donations for our silent and live auctions.  Sports tickets, limo services, concert tickets, jewelry, restaurant and retail gift cards and other gift items would be welcome contributions to the packages being assembled.  And, these donations are tax-deductible!  All items can be dropped off in the Advancement Office (Room 100) any time next week.

Lastly, if you haven't purchased your tickets to the Gala, don't wait!  Click here to reserve your seats now.

Please contact Tracey Irving - 714-812-0311 (tirving@servitehs.org) - with any questions or to arrange a pick up if needed.  Thank you for your support!
