A Christmas Carol the Musical

God Bless Us, One and All!

Please join us December 6 - 9, 2012 for Credo Arts' 3rd Annual Presentation of A Christmas Carol.  Don't miss the unforgettable Mr. Scrooge, otherwise known as Mr. Toner, as he transforms from a penny-pinching old miser to a benevolent, kind-hearted English gentleman. The cast also includes members of the Servite, Rosary and Connelly faculty/staff, alumni and children from our local parish schools.

Come and be a part of this magical celebration as we celebrate the spirit of giving at this most blessed time of year. Credo Arts has developed what we call The Promise, and is committed to serving the community. Our production staff, cast and crew are all volunteers and dedicate over 120 hours of their own time putting this show together. Credo Arts is dedicated to donating the proceeds from our collections to local charities, which include Her Servants Kitchen, Joseph's Kitchen and many others.  In addition, we offer two free daytime performances to local elementary schools.  Some of these children have never seen a live performance and have been delighted by the show!

Credo Arts' production staff, cast and crew give their pledge to continue the legacy of The Promise.  We believe that the arts, Credo Arts and A Christmas Carol can touch and change the lives of people for the better.  The generosity and spirit of giving that comes from both participants in the production and audiences alike has been tremendous and we invite you to be a part of this wonderful experience! Please visit our website at www.credoarts.org find more information about the show and tickets.

To become a part of Credo Arts and A Christmas Carol, please contact Robby Robertson at rrobertson@servitehs.org or (714)774-7575 ext. 1136.  We would appreciate any help you could give
given, whether financial or by volunteering.

Servite Receives 2 Challenge Grants!

Servite received wonderful news recently of two major foundation grants for financial aid. The A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation made a $500,000 challenge grant for the St. Alexis Financial Aid Endowment. They have asked Servite to raise matching support from parents and alumni. That means every pledge or donation to the St. Alexis Endowment will have double impact because it will be matched dollar for dollar by The Anderson Foundation. The $500,000 grant and $500,000 in matching funds will become part of a $1,000,000 financial aid endowment that is invested and generate approximately $40,000 annually for student financial aid. The grant is part of the Credo Capital Campaign.

The Windsong Trust of Las Vegas made a $250,000 challenge grant that is also for financial aid. It is anticipated that more than 50 students will benefit from the Windsong Trust grant this school year. Servite has a goal to receive $750,000 in matching support for The Anderson Foundation and Windsong Trust grants before June 30, 2013.

Take the Anderson/Windsong challenge and double the impact of your gift to Servite. Make your gift to Servite today on our secure website.
