Winter is finally over (we had a particularly cold and long one here in Quebec) and the whole LTYB team is looking forward to a beautiful summer.

Since the beginning of the year, we gave workshops and conferences in many countries outside of Canada (Gabon, Japan, Russia, Belgium, France, and Mexico) and we thank all participants for their trust, active participation and for using the tools we teach!

We know that most of you can't take our workshops because these countries are too far or because many of our workshops are in French, and we are sorry about that. If you want to organise the BE YOURSELF workshop in your area, just let us know. In the meanwhile, we do have a workshop planned in Toronto (and in English!) at the end of October. So I hope many of you will be able to come and learn the fantastic tools that we teach.

The team and I wish you all much love and happiness.

P.S.: Lise and I took a week off from our busy schedule to visit Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago. Why Amsterdam? The answer is simple: the Keukenhof garden! Beauty everywhere... Everyone should surround themselves with beauty. It's very uplifting and fills us with energy.

Can you tell the difference between negotiation and manipulation?

Many people manipulate others in order to achieve their goals but they tell themselves or others that they are negotiating. These people are convinced that this is an acceptable way to proceed and that otherwise they will be had. Some of them say they are listening to their needs and that others have only to do the same thing if they are not happy.

The throat is the section of the digestive tract forming a passage between the back of the mouth and the esophagus. Joke of the month

An elderly husband and wife visit their doctor when they begin forgetting little things. Their doctor tells them that many people find it useful to write themselves little notes.

When they get home, the wife says:

"Dear, will you please go to the kitchen and get me a dish of ice cream? And maybe write that down so you won't forget?"

"Nonsense," says the husband, "I can remember a dish of ice cream."

"Well," says the wife, "I'd also like some strawberries and whipped cream on it."

"My memory's not all that bad," says the husband.

"No problem -- a dish of ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream. I don't need to write it down."

He goes into the kitchen; his wife hears pots and pans banging around. The husband finally emerges from the kitchen and presents his wife with a plate of bacon and eggs. She looks at the plate and asks:

"Hey, where's the toast I asked for?"
