Did you know Lionel LeMoine FitzGerald used to send out Christmas cards to his friends, family, and associates each year, featuring original compositions?

FitzGerald lived in Winnipeg between 1924-1947 while working at the Winnipeg School of Art. Some of his Christmas card sketches were reproduced as prints and carried by local galleries.

Our LeMoine FitzGerald collection at the gallery contains two Christmas tree sketches. They are wonderful representations of FitzGerald's unique style and technique.
