This gorgeous art book on Pablo Picasso was produced by renowned art dealer Felicie Balay. From the 1960s on, Balay represented the likes of Salvidor Dali, Benjamin Levy, Alexander Calder, and LeRoy Neiman, among others. She also ran a successful graphics and publishing house in New York. 

This volume on Picasso was personally authorized by the artist. The book was the last he approved before his death and the last book about his work in which he was personally involved. The book was selected as Art Book of the Year when it was published in 1974.

The book is 276 pages long, including 82 photographs of Picasso's work and 96 full colour pages. The gallery's copy is in excellent condition, with a pristine original gold slip cover.
