VIP dinner and Spring National Leadership Conference in New York City

On Wednesday, May 18th we were honored to hear from General James T. Conway, USMC (ret.), 34th Commandant of the Marine Corps. General Conway - a member of JINSA's Board of Advisors, a 2014 Generals and Admirals Program participant, and co-chair of JINSA's Gemunder Center Iran Strategy Council - gave a strategic overview of the Middle East, and shared why JINSA's mission is more important today than ever before. 

On Thursday, May 19 we held a one-day National Leadership Conference. We had high-level briefings from an esteemed group of national security experts on critical topics of the day, including the threat of domestic terrorism, the disastrous nuclear deal with Iran and Iraq, Syria and ISIS. We heard from NYPD Chief James O'Neill, IDF Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yaakov Amidror who was formally National Security Advisor to Prime Minister Netanyahu and currently JINSA's Gemunder Center Distinguished Fellow, The Wall Street Journal's Bret Stephens, Max Boot, and several other leading experts.

On Monday, May 9 at The St. Regis Hotel in Washington DC, past and current participants of JINSA's Generals and Admirals Program joined Israeli Defense and Armed Forces Attach� Maj. Gen. Yaacov Ayish and Senator Ron Johnson to honor the 2016 JINSA Generals and Admirals Program delegation. Senator Johnson spoke candidly to those in attendance about the dangers of the recent Iran deal and the importance JINSA is playing in providing factual information to the Congress and American public. The 2016 delegation departed for Israel on May 28.

On May 16 in Miami, FL IDF Major General (ret.) Yaakov Amidror, former National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel and the head of Israel's National Security Council and Greg and Ann Rosshandler Senior Fellow at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA Center) spoke to a group of JINSA supporters at a luncheon hosted by JINSA Leader Ian Kaplan where he gave an exclusive update on the Middle East.

He also briefed members of the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center and board members of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation on national security challenges.
