The Iran Strategy Council is an organization of former top senior military senior officials and defense analysts with the mission of educating audiences on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and how it will make the United States and its allies less safe and war with Iran and its proxies more likely. The new report was released on September 2, 2015.

JINSA CEO Dr. Michael Makovsky Talks Iran Deal on News Radio 1130 WISN

On August 6, JINSA's CEO Dr. Michael Makovsky was a guest on the Vicki McKenna Show to speak about the Iran deal for News Radio 1130 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show is broadcast locally and to millions of listeners over iHeartRadio.

Lt. Gen. Barbero, USA (Ret.), who participated in JINSA's 2015 Generals and Admirals Program, authored an op-ed in The Weekly Standard on empowering the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Quds Force, Major General Qassem Suleimani, with a large infusion of cash to wreak more havoc and terror.

JINSA Leaders Visit USCG Station New York

In August, a group of JINSA Leaders visited the U.S. Coast Guard Station on Staten Island, New York. The visit was arranged by JINSA Advisor Rear Admiral Bill Merlin, USCG (Ret.). The visit included briefings by senior officers and a rare opportunity to see the Coast Guard in action aboard a Response Boat in New York Harbor.

There are several ramifications of the deal that are unrelated to the Iranian nuclear program, and these dangers should not be ignored. The first and almost immediate ramification of the agreement will be a tremendous arms race in the Middle East, both in terms of conventional and nuclear weapons.

Gen. Devereaux, USAF (ret.) Authors Letter to the Editor of the Wall Street Journal on Defeating Enemy Drones

"Shortly after the 2014 Gaza war, I was part of an independent task force commissioned by the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs to study the conflict and provide lessons for the U.S. military and policy makers when facing adversaries such as Hamas. Given the potential for UAV proliferation by terrorist organizations, we recommended the U.S. develop counter-UAV air-defense technologies to defend against large numbers of small, explosive UAVs attacking simultaneously, in a coordinated fashion."

On August 17, Maj. Gen. Rick Devereaux, USAF (ret.) spoke with the John Batchelor Show on the use of drones by terrorist organizations and anti-drone technology. Gen. Devereaux was a member of the JINSA-commissioned Gaza Conflict Task Force that studies and 2014 Gaza War. The John Batchelor Show is broadcast locally in New York City, Washington, DC, and Providence, RI as well as being available as a popular podcast on iTunes.
