Gemunder Center Iran Task Force: Questions for a Final Deal with Iran
In advance of the deadline for a framework agreement on Iran's nuclear program, JINSA's Gemunder Center Iran Task Force issued a new brief detailing concerns about Iran's nuclear program that must still be resolved to ensure an acceptable final deal. The brief also provides recommendations for the Administration and Congress to work together to develop credible verification and enforcement mechanisms for a comprehensive agreement.
The JINSA commissioneed Gaza Conflict Task Force presents lessons for future U.S. military operations against hybrid, non-state forces. The findings are based on discussions with senior Israeli, Palestinian, and UN officials conducted in Israel, and on primary source research.
National Leadership Conference Call on Israeli Elections
On March 25, JINSA National Leaders were briefed by David Makovsky, Former Senior Advisor to U.S. Special Middle East Envoy and Director of the Project on the Middle East Peace Process at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. The call provided insight into the results of Israel's recent elections and global implications.

In late March IDF Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Michael Herzog addressed JINSA leaders in Washington, New York, Long Island, and Boston on the strategic threats facing Israel. Gen. Herzog has held senior positions in the office of Israel's minister of defense under ministers Ehud Barak, Amir Peretz, Shaul Mofaz, and Benyamin Ben-Eliezer.

In the month of March JINSA brought high-level speakers to Houston and Los Angeles. On March 19, Lt. Gen. Mark Shackelford, USAF (Ret.) spoke to JINSA National Leaders in Houston about his on-the-ground military observations and perspectives while visiting Israel with JINSA's Generals and Admirals Program. On March 23, John Hannah, Senior Advisor to JINSA's Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy and Former National Security Advisor to Vice President Cheney spoke to JINSA National Leaders in Los Angeles on Iran, ISIS, and America's Challenges in the Middle East.
