Iron Dome's Battlefield Successes Point to Greater American Involvement
 Iron Dome's extraordinary performance in the ongoing defense of Israel from Hamas rocket attacks has greatly increased U.S. interest in co-production. By November 20, six days since Hamas dramatically increased the volume of rocket fire against Israel, 340 intercepts had been made, with the Iron Dome system achieving a greater than 80 percent success rate.

Generals Shachnow and Fridovich Speak to Jewish Students in Los Angeles prior to Veterans Day
JINSA arranged for Maj. Gen. Sidney Shachnow, USA (ret.) and Lt. Gen. David Fridovich, USA (ret.) to speak at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles on Nov. 5 in advance of Veterans Day. The event was designed to introduce the students to Jewish American heroes as well as spotlighting American patriotism and the U.S. Armed Forces.

Los Angeles Cabinet Hosts Former Commander in Chief of the Israeli Air Force Major General Ido Nehushtan
 On November 8, 2012 JINSA's Los Angeles Cabinet hosted Major General Ido Nehushtan, the sixteenth Commander in Chief of the Israeli Air Force. Prior to that, he served as head of Planning Directorate in IDF General Headquarters. A fighter pilot, Maj. Gen. Nehushtan has filled a wide variety of other command and administrative positions. The JINSA Cabinets were formed to explore issues affecting both American and Israeli security.
