Rev. Ruth Everhart Joins Us This Sunday
This Sunday, June 5, Ruth Everhart will lead the adult education class at 9:30 and will be the guest preacher for the 11:00 worship service.  She is a writer and Presbyterian pastor who has been serving churches for more than two decades. The author of Chasing the Divine in the Holy Land, Ruth is also an avid blogger and frequent speaker on topics related to spirituality, such as pilgrimage and healing from sexual violence.

Rev. Everhart currently lives in the Washington DC area with her family.  For the adult class, Ruth will discuss her newest book, Ruined which will be available for purchase in August.  "Told with astonishing candor and unflinching honesty, Ruined is an extraordinary emotional and spiritual journey that begins with an unspeakable act of violence and ends with tremendous healing and profound spiritual insights about faith, forgiveness, and the will of God."  - excerpt from Good Reads
Last Chance To Take The C.A.T.!
UNCLE SAM
Have you finished your Congregation Assesment Tool (C.A.T.) yet?  The Survey closes this Monday! We need your input! Go to this link and take the survey as soon as possible.  It should only take 20 minutes, or less. Your survey identity is completely anonymous, so please be brutally honest. The Congregation Assessment Tool will help the Session and congregation plot our course for the future. This feedback is vitally important for Warner to be at its best in serving God, our faith community, and those beyond the community. Laptops and iPads are available after worship for those who do not have access to a computer.
Help Support Our Music Program
PERGOLISI Music is an integral part of worship at Warner Church.  It ushers us into service, calms and inspires us during the worship hour, and sends us off into a busy workweek with blessings and joy.  The music and worship commission manages to provide this beautiful service despite working on a very limited budget.  Please consider honoring the music at Warner by offering, in addition to your generous giving, a gift from the heart just once this month.  It could go a long way to supporting the music program and "right sizing' our budget.

HUNGRY BARREL
Show your love for the less fortunate of the area by bringing food for the "For I Was Hungry" barrel this Sunday. The MUM (Mid County United Ministries) pantry is in particular need of cereal, 1 lb. bags of rice and cans of black beans.

STEPHEN MINISTRY When is the time we need God's love the most? Of course, we need that love every second of every day. But there are times when His love is especially precious to us: when we are seriously ill, or we lose a loved one, or life becomes to confusing that we do not know where to turn, or when depression sets in. Our congregation has trained lay people, Stephen Ministers, who offer a ministry of Christian caring. To find out more about Stephen Ministry, please speak to Barbara Jaquette or Rev. Hill.
