Full Time Student Success Grant (FTSSG)
The Full Time Student Success Grant (FTSSG) provides supplemental aid to community college Cal Grant B recipients who are enrolled full time. The intent of this grant is to support student persistence, retention and success by providing additional assistance for students to attend full time and complete their programs. Cal Grant B recipients who meet all Cal Grant eligibility requirements and who are enrolled in 12 units or more each term will automatically receive the FTSSG.

Important FAFSA Information
The 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application will be available beginning January 1, 2016. To avoid delays in processing your FAFSA, you should create an FSA ID now if you have not yet done so. If you are a dependent student, your parent will need to create an FSA ID, as well.  Because the FSA ID serves as a legal signature, you and your parent cannot share an FSA ID.  For security reasons, you and your parent must use different email addresses when creating FSA IDs.

The Department of Education has changed the log-in procedure for the FAFSA. If you find it a challenge to complete your FAFSA application using the new User ID and Password, information about how to navigate this new process is available on the Federal Student Aid website. You may also drop in to the Financial Aid Lab during lab hours or visit the new Financial Aid Office at the Brentwood Center for assistance.
