Priority registration dates for Spring 2015 will be posted on WebAdvisor and the Spring Schedule of Classes will become available online in early November. Now is a good time to make a counseling appointment to plan your classes for next semester.

Graduation Updates
If you applied for Fall 2014 graduation, you will receive notification of your status to your InSite email by November 15. If you have completed all graduation requirements, you will receive your diploma or certificate by February 15.
If you plan to graduate in Spring 2015, you can apply once you have registered for spring classes. The deadline to apply for spring graduation is March 1. See your counselor to make sure you are on track.
Spring 2015 Priority Registration
Priority registration appointments begin on November 24. Registration appointments will be assigned by the second week of November. Be sure to check "My Priority Registration Appointment" on InSite/WebAdvisor for the earliest date you can register. For the best selection of classes, register on your registration date!
Priority Registration Requirements
If you are new to LMC this semester and have not completed orientation, assessment and a student educational plan, you must do so to receive a priority registration appointment for Spring 2015. Failing to complete these requirements means that you will have to enroll late and will probably not get the classes you need. See Steps for New Students
Registration Appointment Appeal
Students who have over 100 degree applicable units or who are on second semester probation or dismissal will receive a later registration date. Students who qualify may file a Registration Appointment Appeal. See instructions on the form.

Fall 2014 General Financial Aid Workshops Paying for college can be a big challenge. That is why the Office of Financial Aid is here -- to help you take advantage of all the financial assistance resources available to you. The general financial aid workshop will provide you with information about all of the FREE Federal and State grants available to students pursuing higher education. Our staff will also assist you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the Web. We welcome you to join us! View flyer UCLA TAP Conference Take a trip to UCLA for the Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) Conference on Friday, November 14. Twenty-four lucky students will be chosen to attend this fascinating annual conference aimed at giving students interested in UCLA the "inside perspective" on this top-notch university. The TAP Conference hosts workshops on a variety of topics including: - How to be admitted to UCLA
- Scholarship opportunities at UCLA
- Special programs at UCLA for first generation and low income transfer students
- And much more!
The conference also includes campus tours and an information fair with many UCLA departments and clubs. Honors Director Jennifer Saito, Honors Counselor Luis Morales and Transfer Academy Counselor David Reyes will be leading the LMC delegation. More information about the conference is available on the LMC University Tours webpage and the TAP Conference website Apply online by Friday, October 24 at 12:00 noon. Selected students will be notified by Friday, October 31 and will be required to pay the $40 fee by November 5 to hold the spot.
Transfer workshops The Transfer Center offers workshops throughout the semester on a variety of topics, including how to fill out transfer applications, guidelines for writing essays for applications and scholarships, and Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAGs). University Rep appointments Now is the time to make appointments with representatives of the universities you are considering for transfer. Representatives from at least 11 different 4-year institutions will be visiting LMC this semester to meet with students. Check out the schedule and make appointments.

CSU East Bay kiosk CSU East Bay will have a kiosk at Brentwood Center on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon from October through December. Stop by, ask questions, pick up an application and get information about the application process. Catch a university tour bus in Brentwood! University tour buses will now pick up and drop off students in Brentwood. Buses will stop first at the Brentwood Center, and then continue on to Pittsburg.
