The Big Tent is coming to Knoxville!

Mark Your Calendar!

Experience that deep sense of community that you'd expect at a national gathering of Presbyterians-a great big family reunion! This year Big Tent will offer fresh opportunities for spiritual growth in a setting that fosters camaraderie in a unique way. Unlike other Big Tents, this year's event will not be held at a large hotel.  Instead, it will take place on the University of Tennessee campus. The 2015 Big Tent will offer one all-inclusive price for your accommodations, meals, worship services, workshops, and breakout sessions. Previous Big Tents have consisted of various individual conferences. However, this year's conference will offer a wide variety of workshops and speakers-all designed to inspire and equip Presbyterians to live missionally. There will be something for the whole family, including children's workshops (offered by the John Knox Center staff!) and other activities.

Visit www.pcusa.org/bigtent for the schedule of events, dorm room layout, and other information.

*Registration will be open by March 30

Register for Camp John Knox!

Summer is almost here!

What makes summer at Camp John Knox so exceptional?

Everything!  From the games we play to the campfire songs, Camp John Knox gives campers a chance to expand their comfort zones and gain self-confidence and esteem.

Hiking, canoeing, swimming, arts & crafts, campfires, and hands on nature classes are just the beginning! Each day is packed with  tons of activities. Give your child the opportunity to spend their days having a blast with new friends learning new skills and their evenings worshiping with the sun setting across the lake, singing praise songs around a campfire, and making thousands of memories. From Day Camps for our youngest to multi-adventure trips for older kids! We have fun sessions for all ages! Register online and secure your spot!

Churches!  Want your congregation to hear more about summer camp? Let us know and we will come and visit your church. A director would love to visit for a Sunday morning or evening or a Wednesday evening program; just let us know when you want us to come!

Youth Summit 2014
Youth Summit 2015 is here!

Feb. 27-March 1 in Gatlinburg, TN

With approximately one hundred youth and adults planning to be a part of Youth Summit, the Youth Committee and Youth Council are excited about the upcoming weekend.  Michelle Thomas-Bush, our keynote speaker, promises to give us the opportunity to learn about living a playful life in our relationship to God and to one another.  Our Youth Council has been hard at work planning games and energizers as well as preparing to lead small groups.

Thanks to everyone who is making this event possible!
