The May 6 Stated Meeting of Presbytery will be held at "your place on the lake" - John Knox Center.  Attire for the day is "camp casual."  All the day's details are available in the meeting packet on the Presbytery's website.

Churches in the Presbytery of East Tennessee are encouraged to study the subject of Christian Marriage in accordance with the action taken by the 220th General Assembly. The Presbytery's Task Force on Christian Marriage has created a study guide consisting of discussion questions and supplemental handouts, as well as an accompanying DVD.

The Serve Mission Team's event for the mission-minded - Mission Madness - attracted more than 90 participants on Sunday, March 29 at Farragut Presbyterian Church.  Those in attendance shared their passion for mission and learned about how churches in East Tennessee are or can be involved in mission efforts here and around the world.  The Serve Mission Team extends its heartfelt thanks to folks at Farragut for their warm hospitality and assistance, and to the many volunteers who served as workshop leaders and fulfilled the many tasks associated with such an event.

Saturday, April 19th found the Board of Directors meeting at Sunset Gap.  Things are going well there.  Campers have signed up for many weeks this summer.  Permits for a new septic and sewer system have been submitted to the state. An Easter Egg hunt was held that afternoon, enjoyed by all with punch and cake afterwards. The Fourth of July will find fireworks, dinner, and an auction.
