NATIONAL FEDERATION OF PARALEGAL ASSOCIATIONS (NFPA) ANNOUNCES THOMSON REUTERS/NFPA PARALEGAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

 

Edmonds, WA - December 14, 2012 - The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. ("NFPA") is pleased to announce that Anne "Caitlin" Griffin of Raleigh, NC has been selected as a Thomson Reuters/NFPA Paralegal Student Scholarship Winner.

Anne "Caitlin" Griffin is a 23-year-old graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh,  North Carolina. Ms. Griffin spent one academic year studying abroad in Mendoza, Argentina, where she conducted her honors thesis research. Caitlin returned to Meredith fluent in Spanish and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in May 2011. In August of 2011, Caitlin entered the Meredith College Paralegal Program and chose Civil Litigation as her specialty track. This past May 2012, she earned her paralegal certificate. Caitlin is a member of four paralegal professional associations, and next year, she will serve as the co-2nd Vice President of Education in the Raleigh Wake Paralegal Association. She is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal and plans to pursue national certification.

 

Caitlin feels extremely fortunate to have been hired as a full-time bilingual paralegal in the Wage and Hour Division of Martin & Jones, PLLC shortly before graduating from the Meredith program.
