NATIONAL FEDERATION OF PARALEGAL ASSOCIATIONS (NFPA�) ANNOUNCES THOMSON REUTERS/NFPA PARALEGAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP WINNER  

 

 

 

Edmonds, WA - December 14, 2012 - The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. ("NFPA") is pleased to announce that Melissa Jurik of Fox Lake, IL has been selected as a Thomson Reuters/NFPA Paralegal Student Scholarship Winner.

Ms. Jurik returned to college in fall of 2010 to be a role model for her children. As a   working wife and mother of three, she has served as the President of the Pupils of Paralegal Studies (POPS) Club, the Co-Vice President of Membership in the Alpha Alpha Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, and completed the Emerging Leaders program at the College of Lake County. Taking advantage of a second chance at college, Ms. Jurik has maintained a 3.9 concentrated GPA. Graduating with an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies in December of 2012, she will be transferring to Roosevelt University to pursue a Bachelors Degree.
