Candidate Forum - March 28th
The League will sponsor a forum featuring candidates for State Senate District 11 - Regina Goodwin, Kevin Matthews and Heather Nash.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 28th at Rudisill Library (1520 N. Hartford Ave., 74106) from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. If you are interested in volunteering at this event, please contact the League office. We hope to see many League members and District 11 voters there!
We're still celebrating
The League celebrated its 95th Birthday on February 14th. We hope you had a chance to peruse our "At A Glance" to see everything we accomplished last year and how we are "Making Democracy Work" in Tulsa.

We are still gratefully accepting birthday gifts - please consider supporting our work in 2015!
March Unit Meetings
This month's Unit Meeting topic is Election Reform. Oklahoma voter turnout is rapidly declining and a third of  eligible citizens are not even registered to vote. This is an important issue for League discussion and we hope you will attend a Unit Meeting this month.
Meet the Member Mondays
Want to see who makes our League special? We recently launched a new initiative to showcase our members, see the diversity of our membership and hear why they think the League's work is important! View the latest post here.

Want to get involved in this fun new series? Contact the League office and we will send you a short questionnaire!
Free Film Series - Earth Matters
The All Souls Green Team is currently offering a free film series - Earth Matters, which is co-sponsored by the League. The next film in the series is "Tar Creek," in which local filmmakers tell the story of an environmental disaster that happened right here in Northeastern Oklahoma.

This film will be shown on March 31st at 6:00 pm at Emerson Hall at All Souls Unitarian Church, 2952 S. Peoria. Snacks and drinks will be available. This event is free and open to the public.
