Boston University
School of Medicine Alumni Newsletter
December 2014

Greetings!

In this season of reflection and celebration, many of our medical students have expressed their appreciation for alumni donations.  I encourage you to click on the videos to the right of this message.  Heartfelt, unscripted remarks are captured:  students thank alumni for the bagel breakfast before exams, for stethoscopes received by the first year students and for the alumni scholarship monies.  I think you will enjoy these messages.

Read with pride how one of our own, Dr. Thea James, received the 2014 Schwartz Center Compassionate Caregiver Award, carrying on the tradition of demonstrating extraordinary compassion in caring for patients.

Thank you for your support of BUSM and I encourage you to include BUSM in your philanthropic giving this year.  As the students said in the videos, your gift does make a difference.

I wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season.
