County seeks ideas, concepts for Cornell/Murray property

Washington County has issued a "Request for Expressions of Interest" (RFEI), seeking creative, innovative, feasible proposals for a vacant, County-owned, 0.76-acre property in the Cedar Mill Town Center, at the southeast corner of Cornell Road and Murray Boulevard.

The property is in a highly visible location, providing a gateway to the Cedar Mill Town Center. More than 30,000 cars pass the Cornell/Murray site on a typical weekday. The Cedar Mill area has seen steady growth, with about 60,000 residents and 30,000 jobs in the area.

The County is using the RFEI approach because it is flexible - no costly, complex responses are required. The Sept. 14 deadline for the proposal is "soft;" the County will accept responses submitted after the deadline, up until a developer/project team is selected.

Those interested in submitting a proposal should contact Stephen Roberts, Special Projects Coordinator, Washington County Land Use & Transportation, at 503-846-3798 or stephen_roberts@co.washington.or.us.   Project webpage   RFEI
