LUT looks at rightsizing the parking code

The Rightsizing the Parking Code project is evaluating the County's parking standards for new development in unincorporated areas. The project is focused on supporting and sustaining vibrant, walkable, and transit-supportive Town Centers and Station Communities. The one-year project, funded by a Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) grant, is starting with the formation of a stakeholder work group to provide input and review the project team's work. If interested in being a part of the stakeholder work group, contact the project team.   Parking Code Study

Comments on Council Creek trail plan draft due Friday, July 31

Public comments on the Council Creek Regional Trail (CCRT) Master Plan draft are being accepted until Friday, July 31. The plan supports the vision to connect the end of the TriMet MAX line in Hillsboro to the Banks-Vernonia State Trail. It identifies the preferred routes, provides information on trail types and treatments, implementation, a phasing plan and funding opportunities. The final plan is expected to be adopted in fall.
