New Political Leader Emerges

Suddenly my inbox is filled with a speech by a man I never heard of--Dr. Benjamin Carson. This eloquent black man gave this speech at the nation prayer breakfast, with President Obama sitting next to the podium.
Dr. Carson has quite a story. He rose from poverty to become a brain surgeon. Now he has turned his attention to politics.
His story, really, is not all that unique in America. What is curious about this speech is how boldly he proclaims common sense political solutions that are contrary to the President's. You cannot help but watch the president squirm.
Dr. Carson is a Christian and liberally quotes the Bible. One of the quotes he used is Proverbs 11:9. This verse says that "by knowledge the righteous are delivered." One cannot read this verse without calling to mind the numerous videos most of us have seen that interview Obama voters, who display such incredible ignorance of politics and economics. I have added the verse to the two others at the bottom of this blog.
I think this guy has suddenly caught the attention of many because people are so hungry for common sense leadership. We are going to be hearing a lot more from this man. The video is 27 minutes long, but worth the time. Here it is:

The liberal agenda has as its center piece the twin goals of compassion and fairness. However noble these goals may be, the dirty little secret of liberalism is that behind this respectable front, liberal policies actually produce the opposite!
What liberals really want is the destruction of institutions that promote true compassion and fairness--including the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Rule of Law, natural law, Biblical Christianity, frugal and responsible government, and traditional western values. Their unstated goals are control and cronyism--ultimately the obliteration of anything that gets in their way of their lust of power.
Liberal politics by its nature is divisive and unfair, promoting envy and covetousness among groups of citizens. Its beneficiaries are largely arbitrary and may include young men in baggy pants with their hats on backwards (sitting in front of a TV all day)--as well as the single moms around town that these studs impregnated. But just as easily liberal cronyism will cull other groups for support including union bosses, abortionists, bankrupting solar executives, or guilt-ridden movie stars.
Government intervention leads to dependency, which creates indolence, which produces economic stagnation. Christian conservatism is the more moral system as it promotes true freedom, real compassion, and produces economic success for the most number of people.
