Counting down the 11 most popular home improvements - Which 11 features are homeowners willing to pay more for when purchasing a home? One of the top features buyers look for in their next home is the Eat-In Kitchen - The people who are most interested in an eat-in kitchen tend to be in the 35 to 54 age range -- more people, especially those who are raising families, want kitchens that look into family entertainment rooms. Some have even made it a family hangout by placing big-screen TVs and other electronics in the kitchen. Prospective buyers are also very interested in a Walk-In Closet in their Master Bedroom - Having a walk-in closet in the master bedroom is also a status symbol. When giving a house tour, people want to say, "hey, check out my closet," in the same way they say, "hey, have you seen my new kitchen?" Story HERE Highlights From Venice Eclectic - - Couldn't make the "Venice Eclectic: Modern Architecture from the 1970s and 80s" tour? No worries. Here's a look at some of the best the beachside artists Mecca has to offer:
Binocular Building - California's Venice is the Chiat-Day Building, AKA the "Binocular Building," built by Frank O. Gehry and Associates and artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen for the giant advertising firm. It's now the L.A. area home of Google.
Ballerina With Clown Head Sculpture - The second thing people think of when you mention Venice design, dancing on a commercial/residential structure on the corner of Main Street and Rose Avenue. It's become a community landmark. Story HEREU.S. home prices keep rising, but homeownership is down - Home prices are rising at levels not seen since the real estate boom, but American homeownership remains on the decline. Prices are rising because of strong demand, a lack of supply and a sharp recovery in the hardest-hit markets. The number of foreclosed homes coming to market has also dropped dramatically. Story HERE

But before you go forgetting the way to Lot C, the plan still needs to be approved by the County and the FAA, and then each component of the plan needs to be approved on its own, which means there's still plenty of time to argue about runways. The world's most expensive Couples Retreat Inspiration Mars has unveiled plans to send a married couple out to Mars and back in January 2018 as part of a project that experts predict will cost at least $1 billion.
Despite a lack of NASA backing, the first space tourist, Dennis Toto, has amassed $100 million in initial funding to get the project underway.
The launch date of 5th January 2018 is timed so that the 501 day trip co-incides with a once-in-a-generation approach of the orbits of Earth and the red planet, and the spacecraft will pass within 100 miles of Mars.
A married couple will be selected for the mission but, despite the costs involved, their living conditions will be far from luxurious. Instead, they will be confined to a 600 cubic foot capsule, have no showers, and other limited necessities.. So... who here's up for it?! Article HERE
