Runway Wars

The Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday approved a
$4.7- billion package of improvements for LAX, including a controversial plan to move the northernmost runway closer to neighborhoods in Westchester and Playa del Rey - - No votes came from Councilmembers Bill Rosendahl, Dennis Zine and mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti.

But before you go forgetting the way to Lot C, the plan still needs to be approved by the County and the FAA, and then each component of the plan needs to be approved on its own, which means there's still plenty of time to argue about runways.  Story HERE
