Letter to the Editor

Wednesday, March 13, 2012 there was a Community Update Meeting in Playa Vista.  It is the quarterly Playa Vista Parks and Landscape Corporation (PVPAL)
Meeting with an Open Forum for the community.

We received the following "Letter to the Editor" based on one of the key topics at this meeting: a community-wide dog litter problem.

I heard the most bizarre rationale last night at the PVPal Homeowners Association Meeting.  Does that make you think it was the BOARD being irrational?  Not at all, and the topic was poop.
 
Dog poop, to be exact.  And why there is so much of it on Playa Vista parkways when we not only have (1) VERY handy little poop bag & trash receptacles on every block but also (2) maintenance people working full-time throughout the 'hood picking up doggie doody.
 
The scenario:  a neighbor is walking a dog.  The dog poops.  The neighbor walks on, doesn't pick up the poop.  An observer says, "Hello! You didn't clean up after your dog." And the comeback... (ready for this?)... "I PAY PEOPLE TO DO THAT."    Letter continued HERE
