Gardner's Fertilizer & Farm Supply

Founded in 1955 as Gardner's Fertilizer & Farm Supply, Gardner's General Store remains the oldest privately owned business in Hartsville. The Farmwald family purchased Gardner's in 2008 and transformed the large, barn-style warehouse into a nostalgic, old-time general store that continues to support local, small-scale farmers while also meeting the needs of the growing 21st Century community. The small business provides products that support pets, livestock, gardens and households, prioritizing local and American made products including bulk seed and feed, local meat and dairy products, toys, candies, sodas and other groceries.
