Chamber Connection
"You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars. With it, there is accomplishment. Without it there are only alibis."  -Henry Ford
June 17, 2014

The Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce is a catalyst for community success through member support and advocacy.

This is the Chamber's mission statement, recently revised to reflect the true nature of its work. The paths taken towards this goal are varied, but the motivation is always the same: community success. The new Goodwill on 4th Street is an example of community success; an exciting new shopping opportunity and jobs for 25 industrious Hartsvillians. Leadership Hartsville enhances our community's leaders as well as its landscape by undertaking service projects that will be a boon to the downtown area for years. The Chamber not only lifts up those who are improving our way of life, it also takes bold steps to knock down barriers to success.

One of the most daunting obstacles faced by small business owners and non-profits is the necessity for a web presence. Consumers are increasingly using online sources to get information about products, services, and events; an organization without an online footprint risks being invisible to this new generation. The Chamber is poised to eliminate these issues through a variety of high-tech options in the coming weeks.
