Everybody wants a better tomorrow, and everyone wants to be part of a winning team.
If asked about a best memory not relating to their family, chances are very good people will tell you about being on a winning team, a military unit they served in, a musical group they played in, a successful business venture, or a time they were made to feel very special.
People are willing to pitch in and be part of something bigger than themselves. If people can see they'll be recognized for their contributions and maybe even have some fun, they will follow a leader that can show ideas for growth or change in a way that makes sense and has a noble purpose attached to it.
The leader who is capable of accomplishing that has no need to hesitate or worry about people pitching in. All the help you need will be there.
