Animal Therapy Goes to the Next Level Having therapy dogs, Ginger and Mary Ann, live at Osprey Lodge has been working well. On a typical day one of the dogs will spend time in the foyer greeting guests, or catching a miscellaneous dog treat from residents passing by. Part of their job is also visiting our residents during their temporary hospital stays. As well, our local nursing homes all enjoy seeing their wagging tails occasionally. A couple of weeks ago one of the event coordinators, Ruth, arranged to have a couple of miniature therapy horses visit the community. They were very social and just as you might expect, little horses, little poo! |

Things that make you go hmmm...
There's a maxim about a man who wanted to get rid of mice that were in his house. He bought a mouse trap, but he didn't have any cheese. So, he cut out a picture of cheese from a magazine and loaded it in the trap. He got up the next morning to find a picture of a mouse in the mousetrap.
The message behind the story? A feigned life produces false results.
