It is popular today to believe that we should not settle for anything less than doing what we love. Write, travel, or do whatever you love, and the money will follow.  Some believe life is too short to spend hours doing what is less than the ideal, so they continue searching for the perfect workplace. However, if the search for the ideal focuses only on the future, we will miss some pretty wonderful experiences that are available today, in this moment.

The fact is life circumstances which prevent us from chasing the perfect, ideal job do crop up, such as major responsibilities connected to our families or our way of life.  Others are confused as to which path to pursue, while others are so stressed in their personal lives there is literally no time or energy to seek the ideal.

The truth is, we learn to love what we do through a deep source of energy, creativity and passion within each of us, even if we are not doing exactly what we love.
