Between now and this coming January a major focus for marketing will be redevelopment of the Osprey Lodge website. Now that our building is completed and most programs up and running, it's time to start sharing more photos and videos showing life at the Lodge.
Two types of video presentations are being developed. One will feature the Lodge environment and resident programs, while the other will show the comical side of what happens when fun is infused into a learning event.
We happened on this idea about ten years ago, while creating short informational videos for a website. Trying to stay focused and deliver every line perfectly is harder than one might think, even for two minutes. What we ended up with was some pretty funny bloopers that created more interest than the polished videos.
This became our motivation to create a lighter side for our future websites. We learned that while people want to be informed they also like to be entertained, and they tend to better remember what gives them joy.
