So, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?
I must admit, I have not always been the best at this holiday. There is a lot of work to be done, so Thanksgiving Day can accidentally be viewed as inconvenient.
We move frantically about fulfilling our plans of where we will eat, with whom we will eat, and how much we will eat. Not to mention the parades and commercials we watch on TV that are already staging us for the next holiday.
Earlier this week (at the Lodge) one of the residents took me by the arm and suggested this; slow down, and smell the roses. Or maybe for this holiday, smell the turkey!
Wow, this is really good advice for me. What about you?
