EXCITING CHANGES!
EFFECTIVE JUNE 1!

In an effort to continue to provide exceptional health benefits, customer service and affordable rates, we are excited to announce some exciting changes coming to Texas Ag Coop Trust!

Texas Ag Coop Trust has always contracted with a Third Party Administrator, most recently Caprock HealthPlans, to administer claims, benefits and eligibility to our member-owners and their providers.  Over the past year, Texas Ag Coop Trust  created an entity, Texas Ag Benefit Administrators, which is wholly owned and operated by Texas Ag Coop Trust.  This new entity will allow Texas Ag Coop Trust to bring ALL of the outside contracted services that Caprock HealthPlans currently provides in-house.  What does this mean to YOU?

  • ALL claims will be received, processed and handled by our own Claims Department.  Providers will file their claims and follow up directly with Texas Ag Coop Trust.
  • ALL benefits and eligibility calls, questions, and requests will be handled by our own Customer Service Department.
  • ALL employee enrollments, terminations and changes will be entered directly into our own system.  ID CARDS WILL BE PROCESSED AND PRINTED IN OUR OFFICE!!!  NO MORE WAITING!!!
  • We will be changing our network back to HealthSmart Preferred Care.  This network is much more extensive than the current networks used.   Many of our member-owners will see a much larger provider base!
  • Prescription Benefits will also move back to HealthSmart RX.  This vendor will allow us to get back to larger discounts, availability and efficient benefits.

We are very excited to pass along the benefits and even SAVINGS to you, our member-owners!

NOTE OF INTEREST: As always, with changes there comes a little bit of extra work.   In order to ensure the most accurate data in our system, we are asking each one of our groups to have their current participants in the plan complete a new enrollment form.  This allows us to have all of the correct data to prevent any disruption in service.   Each participant will need to make sure all of the data is the most current and up to date to include: social security numbers for each dependent covered, current address and phone numbers, current salary, and update life insurance beneficiary information.  The staff at Texas Ag Coop Trust will be more than happy to work with you in getting these completed.   We would like these received in our office via fax or email NO LATER THAN MAY 12, 2014. (mailed to member participants April 22)

We will be issuing new ID cards to all member-owners, so please keep an eye out!  We will follow up with you and let you know anticipated delivery.

As always we are here to serve YOU.

Please feel free to call our office if you should have any questions!!
