Ministry Kits

Monday, May 6, is the deadline for bringing Ministry Kits to the Association Office. The kits will be used for a variety of projects and ministries.
The following items should be placed in a two-gallon zip lock bag. All items should be new.
1 toothbrush
1 toothpaste
1 4.5 oz soap
1 comb
1 bath towel
1 washcloth

Host Churches are needed to provide lunches to crews at their worksites on Monday thru Friday. Get you registration form here. First Aide Coordinators are also needed. These are people who have Basic First Aide Certification or medical training. This can include: doctors, nurses, firefighters, EMT workers, ect. - Sunday, April 1, The Reverend Shane Donald began duties as pastor of Cedar Shoals.
- Sunday, April 7, was the last service of Revolution Church. The Reverend Chris Lewis was their pastor.
- The Reverend Carlos Ruiz has planted a new Hispanic Congregation (Galilea) in the East Washington Village Apartments.
- Carlos Galarza has planted a new Hispanic Congregation (Laurel Hispanic Mission). They are meeting at Laurel Baptist Church.
- Brushy Creek is sponsoring a "Are you interested in getting hitched...but no to a U-Haul?" dinner for single moms on Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. For more information go to www.BrushyCreek.org.
- Edwards Road has a team who can go into smaller churches and conduct Vacation Bible School. They can assist with teaching, leading worship rallies, et cetera. For more information contact Camille at camilleguthrie@charter.net.
