Waikiki Brewing Company to launch new venture
Waikiki Brewing Company has signed a lease at 831 Queen Street where it will open an all-encompassing facility featuring a brewery, canning operation, and tasting room. A food truck will also be on site to serve patrons. The deal is a win win - the emerging Kakaako neighborhood gains an established local company while the brewery increases square footage to bring their expansion dream to fruition. Waikiki Brewing Company is the brainchild of former Cheeseburger Restaurants general manager, Joe Lorenzen, now Brewmaster of the new venture. With the support of Cheeseburger Restaurants founders Laren Gartner and Edna Bayliff, Lorenzen pursued training from the American Brewers Guild. Robert J Kaskie, Executive Vice President of Cheeseburger Restaurants Inc., was also instrumental in getting Waikiki Brewing Company up and running. In addition to a wide range of handcrafted beers the pub also offers tasty grinds. Opening in this downtown space, formerly occupied by Fresh Café, will elevate Waikiki Brewing Company's status to a first class brewery. Seth McCormack of The Beall Corporation represented Waikiki Brewing Company in securing this lease. Let us help you find the ideal space for your business or browse our listings today.
