Kauai A Beautiful Place To Do Business
In addition to our projects on Oahu and the Big Island,
Beall Corp is excited to be representing several projects on beautiful Kauai. Known as the Garden Isle, Kauai attracts visitors with its lush rainforests and extraordinary coastlines. In addition to its strong U.S. West Coast market, Kauai also draws visitors from the U.S. East Coast and Canada. There are already more than 30 direct flights to Lihue from the U.S. mainland and with the Hawaii Tourism Authority dedicated to increasing neighbor island traffic, now is the perfect time to tap into this growing market.
Kapaa & Lihue, Easy Access To Visitors, ResidentsBeall Corp is currently leasing four properties in Kauai's busiest visitor and residential cities -
Kapaa and
Lihue. Construction forecasts are up for the state and Kauai has several projects in the works. "Over the next 12 months both Kauai Sands and Coconut Marketplace will be completing major renovations," says Cory Beall, President of Beall Corp. "Additionally, the coastal bike path that is slated for completion later this year will connect the Coconut Plantation resort with Kapaa town and the Wailua River/Coco Palms area. The route will run between Kauai Sands and Coconut MarketPlace, which is a tremendous amenity to the resort and source of customers to the properties."
Located on Kuhio Highway in an area known as the Coconut Coast,
Coconut MarketPlace is comprised of plantation style buildings and kiosks covering 7.6 acres. This open-air venue features 66,000 square feet of shopping, dining, entertainment and specialty service space.
The
Kauai Sands Hotel is a 206-room oceanfront hotel which was recently acquired by a Texas based firm and Aqua Hotels is now managing the property. The new ownership group is embarking on a major renovation of the common area amenities and rooms, The Beall Corporation is marketing an extremely
rare beachfront 7,000 square foot restaurant space at the hotel property. The space immediately fronts the ocean and the property is within a strong resort area, including over 2,200 resort housing units within 5 minute drive. Located within a central area of the island and with signage opportunities that are visible from Kuhio Highway, the restaurant space is expected to draw from the over 9,600 lodging units within 20 miles of the hotel. This central location also will allow an operator to draw from the 50,000 locals within 15 mile of the hotel. The Beall Corporation starting marketing this property in April and there's been significant interest from several restaurant operators. We expect to announce a new opening in short time.
Central to popular beach hotels in this area you'll find the quaint
Islander Shops, anchored by
Trees Lounge, a popular local night spot. Finally, the unspoiled oasis of the
Kauai Beach Resort lies just down the coast and has lobby retail and commercial space available.
Princeville, Kauai's Luxury MarketKauai's north shore is known as the home of high-end properties and Princeville Resort. The Foodland-anchored
Princeville Center is the primary shopping destination for both residents and visitors to Princeville and Hanalei. The 70,521 square foot shopping center is the only full-service grocery-anchored center serving the area and includes a community and resort based tenant mix offering something for everyone. Continuing into the Princeville community, one will find the 252-key
St. Regis Princeville Resort, one of Kauai's most luxurious getaways and the only St. Regis branded hotel within the state of Hawaii. In addition to the St. Regis, Princeville includes 622 timeshare units, 1,065 condominiums and 773 singe family homes.
