In his State of the State Message, Governor Andrew Cuomo declared his intention to push an extreme abortion expansion plan, even though New York's abortion rate is the highest in the nation. There are already too many abortions in New York. Women and infants deserve better than abortion.
Gov. Cuomo's plan would allow more late-term abortions and allow non-doctors to perform surgical abortions. In addition, it would forbid any commonsense regulations, like parental notification for minors. It is well out of the mainstream.
