Guide for Managing Risk on Rapid Renewal Projects, a new SHRP 2 Project Brief 

Compressing the schedule of transportation design and construction projects to reduce travel disruption and increase worker safety without affecting project cost or success can expose a project to risks different than those that more traditional projects encounter. SHRP 2 Project R09 developed the Guide for Managing Risk on Rapid Renewal Projects, which is accompanied by training materials, forms, and checklists to assist agencies in implementing the systematic risk management approach it puts forth. The project brief describes the Guide and its supplementary materials.
