SHRP 2's Year in Review

A new brochure summarizes progress during 2013 in the second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2), which is administered by the Transportation Research Board. SHRP 2 research has four focus areas: the role of driver behavior and performance in highway safety; tools and techniques for rebuilding roads and bridges with minimal disruption to traffic and communities; improving travel time reliability; and developing a decision support system for transportation planning, programming, and project development activities.  SHRP 2 products will help transportation agencies speed delivery of projects that provide safe and reliable trips on roads that are planned, built, and operated to help the nation's communities thrive.
