Greetings!
To identify geotechnical solutions for transportation infrastructure, a SHRP 2 project created a web-based information system that catalogs 46 geoconstruction and ground improvement technologies. This system will be the subject of a TRB webinar held on December 20, 2012, 2:00-3:30 p.m. EST.
The webinar is designed for geotechnical, structural, and pavement engineers. Experienced engineers will benefit from the design, construction, cost, and specification information provided in the catalog. Engineers and planners newer to the field will benefit from the technology selection assistance portion of the web-based system, which allows for assessing the feasibility of technologies to address project requirements and constraints.
Participants must register in advance of the webinar, and there is a fee for non-TRB Sponsor employees. A certificate for 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH) will be provided to attendees who register and attend the webinar as an individual. Register now.
