Children's Aid Society Grabs 25K Square Feet on 125th Street

 

 

After the United Charities sold off it's historic building last fall, one of it's member organizations signed a five-year lease to relocate an administration office uptown. 

 

The Children's Aid Society, a 160-year-old nonprofit that helps children in poverty, still operates from the building in Midtown South that thte Chinese Developer, Cheerland Investments, bought for $128 Million in October, according to public records. The Aid Society took 25,965 square feet spread over floors two through four at 4 West 125th Street in Harlem. Read More

  • January 6, 8, & 13 - NYC DOT made presentations to the transportation committees of Manhattan Community Board 9, 10 & 11 respectively. Click here for presentation Based on DOT findings, there is interest in expanding the dedicated bus lane west of Lenox Ave.

The 125th Street BID welcomes The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) as it celebrates its 6th anniversary in New York City 
from 
Feb. 12th - Feb. 15th,  2015.
